Frequently Asked Questions
Straight Answers to Real Questions
What needs and backgrounds can you support?
We provide Supported Accommodation for young people aged 16 to 17, and Floating Support for young adults aged 18 to 21. We work with young people experiencing a wide range of needs and risk factors, including:
- • Missing episodes and going missing from care
- • Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) and county lines involvement
- • Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)
- • Gang affiliation and peer exploitation
- • Education disengagement
- • Emotional wellbeing difficulties and mental health needs
- • Family breakdown and placement instability
- • Risk-taking behaviours and additional vulnerabilities
- • Care leavers (Section 20, Section 17 or Leaving Care status)
- • Unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC)
We do not currently support young people with acute mental health crisis needs that require a clinical setting. If you are not sure whether we are the right fit, just call us. We would rather have that conversation than leave you without an answer.
What does your staffing and support model look like?
Every young person placed with us is allocated a named Key Worker who provides regular face-to-face support. Key Workers meet with residents at least weekly and are the primary point of contact for both the young person and their social worker.
Our support model includes:
- • Named Key Worker for every resident
- • Weekly 1-to-1 Key Worker sessions
- • Individual Support Plan developed within the first week of placement
- • Regular written progress reports shared with the placing authority
- • On-call manager available 24/7 for genuine emergencies
- • Access to life skills workshops, education support and wellbeing activities
How do you handle safeguarding concerns?
Safeguarding is our highest priority. We have a clear, robust safeguarding policy and a trained Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- • DSL: Daniel Mensah, Founder and Director
- • All staff hold enhanced DBS checks and receive annual safeguarding training
- • Safeguarding concerns are escalated immediately in line with local authority procedures
- • We report and record all concerns and share information with placing authorities promptly
- • Compliant with the Children Act 1989 and 2004 and all relevant safeguarding frameworks
For safeguarding concerns, contact our DSL directly at info@winnersoftomorrow.co.uk or call 020 090 9584 .

Emergency Placements
Call us directly for urgent or emergency cases
For urgent placements, please call us directly on 020 090 9584 rather than using the online form. We will always do our best to accommodate emergency situations as quickly as possible.
What information do I need to provide when making a referral?
To process a referral efficiently, please have the following ready:
How will I be kept updated once a placement is made?
We do not go quiet once a placement is made. Here is how we keep you in the loop:
- • Written progress reports shared at agreed intervals (typically monthly)
- • Invitation to support plan reviews, usually at 4 to 6 week intervals
- • Immediate notification of any safeguarding concerns or significant incidents
- • Open access to the Key Worker by phone or email at any time during office hours
How are fees structured?
Fees are agreed directly with the placing local authority before a placement starts. We are straightforward about pricing and do not charge hidden extras.
Rates vary depending on the level of support the young person needs. We do not apply a flat rate across the board. That would not be fair.
