What This Service Is

Our Life Skills & Support service teaches young people the essential practical skills needed for independent living. Many young people entering our care have never had the chance to learn these skills. We make sure they leave us fully equipped.

From cooking and cleaning to budgeting, banking and understanding official letters, our Key Workers provide patient, practical guidance at every step.

Who This Service Is For

This service is for young people who:
• Have never lived independently before
• Need help with budgeting, cooking or home management
• Want to learn how to manage bills and finances
• Need support with forms, letters and administration
• Are preparing to move into their own tenancy

How It Works

We identify the life skills you want to develop in your Support Plan

Your Key Worker works with you regularly in a practical, ongoing way

We use real everyday situations to teach skills in context

We help you open a bank account and manage Universal Credit
