Our Safeguarding Approach: What Local Authorities Need to Know

How Winners of Tomorrow approaches safeguarding, staff training, and multi-agency working to ensure every young person in our care is safe and supported.

Safeguarding is at the core of everything we do at Winners of Tomorrow. As an Ofsted-registered provider, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of child and young person protection.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Daniel Mensah, Registered Service Manager and Responsible Individual. Daniel oversees all safeguarding matters and ensures our policies and practices are kept current and compliant.

Staff Training and Supervision

All staff at Winners of Tomorrow hold enhanced DBS checks and receive mandatory safeguarding training on appointment and annually thereafter. Our team participates in regular reflective supervision and team development sessions to ensure consistent, high-quality practice.

Multi-Agency Working

We work closely with placing local authorities, social workers, personal advisors, health services, and other statutory and voluntary sector partners. We actively participate in multi-agency meetings, looked-after children reviews, and pathway planning meetings to ensure each young person receives coordinated, joined-up support.

Reporting and Transparency

Commissioners receive regular placement updates and written reports. Any safeguarding incidents or concerns are reported promptly in line with statutory guidance. We maintain a transparent, open relationship with all placing authorities.

To request our full safeguarding policy or discuss a placement, please contact us at info@winnersoftomorrow.co.uk.
